Positive Manoeuvre

Psalm 91:1-2 “When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.” [TPT].

Your turning point is here! Do you receive it? You will experience a definite turnaround from Darkness to Light, from Prison to Palace, from Sorrow to Joy, from Penury to Plenty, from Having A Career to Having A Call, from Bareness to Fruitfulness, from Sickness to Health, from a “Nobody” to a “Somebody”, from Dryness to New streams, from Death to Life, from Eating With Pigs to Eating With The King, and from Being Under Attack to Being Under Protection. There was a slang we used to describe this scenario when I was going up. But I will paint the picture for you. Imagine someone is being chased by a group of hoodlums, thugs carrying clubs and all sorts of weapons. The person is running and running and running.

Then suddenly, the person experiences a turning point. He or she turns at a corner and sees the number one army in the world, a whole battalion of them beckoning on him or her to come into their company. The mob chasing him or her are still charging forward with their cutlasses and all. Then they get to the corner and see the one they were chasing in company of this battalion, what will happen? The chase will turn around and the chaser will become the chased. This is what a turnaround from being under attack to being under protection looks like. Being under attack is not a good place to be. Being under protection is a good place to be. That singular man or woman can start to chase the gang of hoodlums because of the army behind him or her.

God is going to back you up in an unbelievable way in the Name of Jesus. Ps.91:1 O, you who sits enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.” (TPT, paraphrased, emphasis added). When we come into God’s shadow, we have not come to sit on the floor, we have not come to just perch somewhere. He gives us a throne; He gives us a seat. If it is just to perch under God’s shadow, that is okay for me. I rather perch under God than be somewhere else. God gives us a throne, that is what the scripture says in the original. You are tucked away [hidden], far away from the schemes of men, far away from the arrows of the enemy, far away from the claws of evil, far away from the fire of destruction – totally hidden!

In the original, Shaddai [root word for El-Shaddai] means the God of the Mountain [The God that shields, the Rock of Salvation]. Shaddai means the Destroyer of Enemies, that is whose shadow you should come under. Shaddai means God, the Self-sufficient. He does not need to get up and buy food. He does not get tired or weary. He does not need to sleep to renew His energy. He is Self-sufficient. Shaddai means the Nurturer of Babies [The Double Breasted One]. In other words, while you are seating under His shadow, He is feeding you and taking care of you. Shaddai also means God the Almighty. From today, you will be completely tucked under the shadow of Shaddai, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, hide me under the strength of God Most High, in Jesus Name. Amen!
