Colossians 2:^14-16 “He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. So don’t let anyone condemn you…”

What Did Jesus “Finish” On The Cross? The first is Jesus Paid The Penalty and Cancelled The Debt. The second thing is, Jesus Defeated The Fear Of Death. You do not have to be afraid of death anymore because Jesus already took care of where you are going. Every child that is born today has a death date, except rapture happens. Everyone will die at some point. Even if it is in a hundred years from now. This means if you are thirty-five, you will live to be a hundred and thirty-five years, then you will go. It is only a fool that will go through life unprepared for something as certain as death. If you are not a child of God, sought it out today. So, that you are not afraid to meet God because your penalty has been paid and your debt cancelled.

Romans 5:¹⁷ “The sin of one man, Adam, caused death to rule over us, but all who receive God’s wonderful, gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.” (emphasis added). Hebrews 2:^14-15 “Jesus became flesh and blood by being born in human form. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the Devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he deliver those who have lived all their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” (emphasis added). It is an insult on Jesus for any Christian to still be afraid of death. Jesus gave His life so that you and I will not be afraid of death.

To be present is useful, but to be absent is to be with the Lord. So, when I know what God has planned for me, I am not afraid of dying. So, for those who are fighting over this and fighting over that, think about it. A hundred years from now, will it matter? A hundred years from now, it will not matter the house you are living in. It will not matter the car you are driving. Guess what? It will not even matter who you are married to a hundred years from now. Totally irrelevant. The only important thing is your eternal salvation. You must ensure that you are aligned with God one hundred percent (100%).

The third thing is, Jesus Broke The Power Of satan To Mess With My Life. The power of satan to mess up my life and your life is broken! Toothless bulldog: everything that is going on is just steam. The power is broken in the Name of Jesus. However, you need to realize that without what happened at the cross, you and I do not stand a chance against satan. That is the truth. But because of what happened at the Cross, satan does not stand a chance against us.

Prayer (hymn): So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross. Till my trophies at last I lay down. I will cling to the old rugged cross and exchange it some day for a crown. Amen!
