Restored!

Psalm 53:⁶ “…When God restores his people, Jacob will shout with joy, and Israel will rejoice.”

Happy Anniversary, God’s Favourite House. Welcome to a new season. God’s Word is restoration, and He will indeed restore in the Mighty Name of Jesus. We began to look at examples in scripture and to draw insight from the Word of God. And yesterday we established that remembrance is key to restoration. Our next examples are Rachel and Hannah. Genesis 30:²² “Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive.” (NIV). God will remember you; He will listen to you and cause you to conceive. You will have your own children in the Name of Jesus. God will remember you, He will listen to you, and He will cause you to conceive financially, if it is financial fruitfulness that you are trusting God for.

God will cause you to conceive mentally with ideas that would change your world to the glory of His Name. God will cause you to conceive by reason of remembrance. I am going to draw a thread through a couple of these scriptures that we will look at. God listened to Hannah implies that she was talking to God. One of the keys to remembrance is that you have to keep bringing your case before God. God listened to Hannah; God will listen to you. God enabled her to conceive; God will enable you to conceive in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

I Samuel 1:¹⁹ “Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her.” (NIV). Hannah had prayed fervently at Shiloh; this is a thread between Rachel and Hannah. Rachel prayed and God heard. Hannah prayed and God heard. God will hear your prayers in the Name of Jesus. In fact, God confirmed it through Eli in 1 Samuel 1:¹⁷ “Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” (NIV). Scriptures say God had heard Hannah, but Elkanah and Hannah still had to do the needful.

Sometimes God has heard your prayers, but you are not doing the things that God wants you to do to trigger the remembrance. And this is so big because sometimes, even though God has heard your prayers for the business, you still need to take that step and knock on that door. God has heard your prayers, but you need to get to work early. God has heard your prayers, but you need to take initiative and do what you need to do. God hears His people. Psalm 65:² “Anyone can come to you, and you will listen to their prayers.” (ERV). Your case will not be different. Luke 11:¹⁰ “For everyone who asks receives…” (NIV).
