Child Of God!

Galatians 4:6 “And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.”

Do not be afraid. When you are afraid, remember whose family you are in and call out to your Abba. Remember Peter, he was walking on water and Jesus was there on the water. When Peter began to sink, what did he do? He shouted, Daddy! Jesus! Help me. Matthew 14:30-31 But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!” Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?” (MSG, emphasis added).

The Bible says Jesus did not hesitate. Amazing! Why would you sink without shouting, Daddy? Fathers reading this today, when your child slips and shouts, Daddy, do you first consider that your child offended you yesterday? Or think about the fact that he did not clean his room. It does not even cross your mind. You reach out and save your boy. How much more your Heavenly Father (Please read Matthew 7:7-11). You need to shout, Daddy! Growing up, I was a master at shouting daddy. So, I can relate to this scripture.

The number one fear people have is the fear of losing control, of being out of control. When people feel out of control, sometimes they think they are losing their minds. Have you felt that way? Have you felt like you are losing your mind or felt like maybe there is something wrong with you? Do not look self-righteous, we have all felt that way at different times.  There are things I want to do, and I ask myself, ‘Are you okay?’ I have good news for you. Psychologists after analyzing this said, you are actually not going crazy, and the reason is crazy people are not afraid of being crazy. You are not going crazy. The fact that you are questioning yourself means that you are actually very okay because crazy people do not say those kinds of things. Crazy people are very happy being crazy.

In fact, in their view, everyone else is crazy. They never consider themselves crazy. The very fact that you are afraid you are going crazy means you are rational. That is what the research says. The very fact that you are worried that you are going crazy means you are normal. You may be broken but you are not crazy. Therefore, fear has no place in you and fear has no power over you. Turn Your Thoughts To God Whenever You Are Afraid, and the fear will be neutralized.

Prayer (song): You unravel me with a melody. You surround me with a song, of deliverance from my enemies ‘til all my fears are gone. I’m no longer a slave to fear. I am a child of God (x2). You split the sea so I could walk right through it. My fears are drowned in perfect love… Amen!
