Isaiah 11:2 “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” (NKJV)

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is like breathing spiritually. In the physical, we breathe in oxygen, and we breathe out carbon dioxide. Spiritually, we breathe out and we say, “Lord, I thank You for forgiving me. I thank You for cleansing me completely.” Then we breathe in, and we say, “Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your power.” I do this a lot. In fact, since 1998 when God taught me and showed me this, I do this every single time that I stand to minister. I say, “Lord, I empty myself of everything that is not of You. And I ask that You fill me with afresh with Your Holy Spirit and power.” Then I breathe out everything that is not of God. And I breathe in God’s life. I do this physically, but it is like a type.

I am breathing in and out spiritually. I do this every single time I stand to minister. This is me giving you one of my secrets. I breathe in the power of the Highest. I breathe in the life of God, and I do that consistently. Why? It is because you do not take a breath in the morning and make it through the day. You do not wake up in the morning, breathe in, and expect to make it through the day. You will not make it. Anybody who tries it will most likely die or end up in the hospital. If you try it, by the time you get to the car, your children will most likely ask if you are okay. You just keep breathing. The breath you took in two minutes ago is gone. It has served its purpose. It cannot help you now. You need fresh breath – fresh air.

And that is how it is with God. You have to trust God. Yes, you trusted God yesterday, fantastic! God bless you. You need to trust God today. And after you have trusted God today, guess what? You need to trust God tomorrow. Just like breathing. This spiritual life is not supposed to be impressive. It is supposed to be a part of us. No one says, have you seen that lady? She is a breather! When she breathes, it is just super. She is really amazing at breathing. Nobody talks like that because everybody breathes. That is how it should be spiritually. Every Christian should trust God easily. Every Christian should be filled with the Holy Spirit easily.

There should be no superstar, no “super breather” in The Kingdom. Everybody should be filled. How do you know if the Hand of God is upon an individual? There are three things you see when the hand of God is upon a person.  As God wills, we will get into this tomorrow.

Prayer (song): Come Holy Spirit, I need Thee. Come, sweet Spirit, I pray. Come in Thy strength and Thy power. Come in Thine own gentle way. Amen!
