The Key

Isaiah 54:^2-3 “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities. (NIV&NLT, emphasis added)

The Word of God is saying to us, enlarge the place of your tent, stretch the curtains of your habitations. We have established that inherent in stretching is stressing. When you stretch a material, you are stressing the material. We are going to be stretched, and with the stretching will come stressing. For the world, it will be pure stressing that will lead to perhaps depression, anxiety, and all sorts of confusion. But for the child of God, the stretching will lead to growth, enlargement, and multiplication in the Name of Jesus. God says, stretch and be submitted to the process of stretching. The process of stretching takes you out of your comfort zone.

Miracles happen outside of your comfort zone. Growth happens outside of your comfort zone. So be prepared to be stretched outside of your comfort zone. Be prepared to be stretched beyond your natural and normal limits. People often know what they want, but people do not pay the price for what they want. What you want is at point A, and there is a stretching that needs to happen for you to take hold of it. Sadly, many people do not submit to the process of stretching.

But you will stretch in the Name of Jesus. Not only will you stretch, you will also take hold of what God has for you in the Name of Jesus. God expects you to stretch, reach out. Get out of your comfort zone, and take hold of what God has for you.

In physics (material science), every object has an elastic limit. When you stretch and get to your limit, what happens? You trade your weakness for God’s strength, and become like a plasticine that He can mould into another vessel. You become like wet clay that He can stretch, transform, and mould into another vessel. God is going to mould you into different beautiful vessels. And you will experience multiple expressions. There will be multiple sides of you.

Psalm 119:¹⁴³ “As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.” Everyone will experience pressure and stress. But again, for you, the pressure and stress will lead to increase, enlargement, growth, and multiplication in the Name of Jesus. This happens when you get into the Word, you will find joy in His command. So, it is imperative that you are rooted and remain rooted in the Word of God. Psalm 119:¹¹⁴ “You’re my place of quiet retreat, and your wraparound presence becomes my shield as I wrap myself in your Word!” (TPT)

Prayer: Father, as I wrap myself in Your Word, I will experience joy, strength, growth, enlargement, multiplication, and God’s presence, in Jesus Name. Amen!
