S.L.S.

Leviticus 20:²² “You must keep all my decrees and regulations by putting them into practice; otherwise the land to which I am bringing you as your new home will vomit you out.”

Spiritual irresponsibility shuts the heavens and causes problems for the land. Deuteronomy 11:¹⁷ “Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the Lord is giving you.” (NIV). But whatever your situation is today, I pray that God will have mercy upon you. I pray that the mercy of God will prevail in your case in the Name of Jesus. I pray that the mercy that stops the hand of judgment, will work in your favour in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

It is so powerful that we understand the workings of the land because this season is not about manna, this season is about the rain, enduring sustained abundance that is generational. 2 Chronicles 7:^13-14 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (NIV, emphasis added). God says, firstly, He will hear from heaven. Secondly, He will forgive their sin. And thirdly, He will heal their land. Shouldn’t number three be, “…and I will open the heavens?”

But that is not what the scripture says. I have a mathematical brain, so to me it was, if God stops the rain because of sin. After His people have prayed and humbled themselves in repentance. And He has heard their prayers and forgiven their sin, then He should send the rain, right? But He said, “No, then I will heal the land…” and it is because if the land is healed, the rain will fall. If the land is healthy, the heavens over the land will be opened. God is saying it is about the land because if the land is healed, the rain will. We want the rain; we are not here for manna.

So, in the S.L.S. of Abundance, the “S” stands for Systems, and “L” stands for the Land. The land connects to the systems. Then the last “S” stands for the Seed, that is, what is in the land. If you can get it, and I pray that you get it today in the Name of Jesus. The S.L.S. of Abundance is the systems, the land, and the seed. Your life will be on a continuous progressive trajectory. Isaiah 55:¹⁰ “Rain and snow fall from the sky and don’t return until they have watered the ground. Then the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow, and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat.” (ERV). We will delve into what is going on here in tomorrow’s devotional.

Prayer: Father, in any way that I have been spiritually irresponsible, and it has affected my land, I ask for Your rain of mercy this season, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
