Isaiah 55:10 “Rain and snow fall from the sky and don’t return until they have watered the ground. Then the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow, and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat.” (ERV, emphasis added).
What are you planting? What are you planting in your land? What are you planting concerning your destiny? That is the question. You have to be deliberate about the seeds you are planting. Guess what? God Himself is planting seeds of greatness in you. And different seasons present us with opportunities to plant seeds, opportunities to give to God. Remember, every harvest you get has two components – seed and food. Do not eat the food and the seed. God Himself wanted a family, so He planted a seed, He gave His only Son so that you and I can come to repentance. I pray that every seed of God in you will taste rain this season in the Name of Jesus.
The seeds of greatness, seeds of potential, and seeds of God’s abundance in you will taste the rain and come to fruition in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Joel 2:23-24 “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.” (KJV, emphasis added). A quick refresher: the former rain falls to trigger the agricultural season, so that the seeds may germinate. You may have been planting seeds, but they have not germinated. Beginning from today, in the Name of Jesus, your seeds will germinate as you will experience the fertilizing rain. Do you receive that? Unless the former rain has fallen, there will be no life, and that applies to everything.
The latter rain, on the other hand, is the rain that ripens the fruit and prepares it for harvest. It is called the ripening showers. And unless the former rain has done its work, the latter rain can bring no fruit to harvest. They work together. I pray that you will experience both the fertilizing rain (the former rain) and the ripening rain (the latter rain) in the Name of Jesus. God will bring the two together, and when that happens, your life will pick up and begin to make progress, and so it is and shall be in the Mighty Name of Jesus. We are not talking about a drop or a drizzle; we are talking about the showers of blessings, a torrent of blessings.
I want you to realize that you are not an accident. Your life will be significant, meaningful, deliberate, great, and filled with God’s abundance in the Name of Jesus. God has good things in store for you. And as you engage the S.L.S of Abundance and work the Word, you will begin to see abundance in every area of your life in the Name of Jesus.
Prayer: Father, this rain will produce abundance in my life, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
