Who Dares?

‘What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?’ Rom.8:31

‘If God be for us’ implies that there are forces that are against us. Not everyone will like you, no matter how nice you are or how much you mind your business. People will wish that you fall down and die just because God is blessing you. However, before you even get to the people that hate you, remember that you have an arch enemy – satan- whose job is to steal, kill and destroy. In the spiritual, you cannot sit on the fence; you have to choose a side. ‘Then the LORD asked Satan, Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil’ Job 1:8. There are conversations going on in the spirit realm about your life that you had better be aware of. Spending time in the presence of God is obtaining the power to influence conversations about your destiny. ‘If God be for us’ means we are not fighting alone. The fact that you are not fighting alone should be the bedrock of your confidence because regardless of the conversations in the spirit realm, you have an intercessor. Through Christ we can influence the spiritual; and change the impossible by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let your confidence come from knowing that the Almighty is backing you up because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. If God be for you, that situation cannot stand in your way. Face situations and people with your head up high because God is for you and He is on your side. ‘What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?’ Rom.8:31. Let your confidence influence your immediate environment and attract people to the God that you put your trust in. Read Genesis 24. Abraham’s servant was not afraid to face the unknown because he knew that he could also place his confidence in the God of his master. Like Jacob, let the Laban’s seek to have you in their camp because they know God is on your side.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the confidence I have in the Name of Jesus. I ask that it will be evident to everyone that fights against me that You are on my side, in Jesus Name.
