Sound On

Exodus 4:^11-12 “Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” (ESV).

What are the causes of muteness, the things that take away sound from a person? What are the things that make people not have a voice or make people unable to speak? They may open their mouths, but nobody is listening; nobody can hear their voices. Their voice does not have any impact spiritually. In heaven, their voices are not recognized. The first cause of muteness spiritually is Unconfessed Sin. As long as you are in this body, listen, you are not going to be perfect. However, that is not an excuse not to grow. But to not come to God, sort yourself out spiritually, and confess your sins is going to shut your mouth spiritually. Psalm 66:¹⁸ “If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened” (NIV). In other words, that voice will be cut off spiritually. Your voice will not be cut off spiritually in the Name of Jesus.

And for everyone whose voice has been cut off spiritually, I pray that your sound will be restored to you now in the Name of Jesus. The second cause of muteness spiritually is Spiritual Lukewarmness. Some people just want to be “okay” spiritually. Okay, as in just getting by. Listen, you need to break out of it. You need to break out of spiritual lukewarmness. Revelations 3:^15-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” (NIV, emphasis added). To spit you out literally means to stay far away from you.

Anyone God stays far away from cannot have a voice in the supernatural. Anyone God distances Himself from, the person’s voice is cut off.

The third cause of muteness is Lack of Confidence. The feeling of inadequacy or feeling inferior, and most times, mumbled with fear. You don’t know who you are in God. So, you are not confident in the things of God, and you don’t have a voice. I see that being reversed right now in the Name of Jesus. I see you receiving your confidence in God in the Name of Jesus. Exodus 4:^{10 & 12} “…Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” (ESV). The One who made the mouth says go, speak for Me. God was giving Moses a voice. God is giving you a voice.

God will be with your mouth and teach you what to say. You are representing God in your business, in politics, and in your career, so go and speak for God. I declare a restoration of sound to everyone who the lack of confidence has taken their voice in the Name of Jesus.
