Dissolve Fear

‘…We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are! We even saw giants there… Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!’ Num.13:31-33

God wants to do the unimaginable in our lives. However, there are certain things that you and I need to check. Things in our lives that we may be cooperating with to keep God boxed. Things that tend to limit the influence of God in our lives. Fear is one such things which you and I must let the Holy Spirit work in us to dissolve completely. Fear attempts to strangle faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God [Heb11:6]. God cannot be unleashed in your life without faith. The only person that can box God in your life is you. Fear boxes God. God had invested so much in the Israelites. They had suffered for so long and were finally about to enter into the promise that God had for them. God had manifested His might, parted the red sea, and He had showed them that He is with them. So He instructed them to go and take the land. But the people said they are not able to take the land because of the giants there. This was a direct insult on God. Are you saying that the God who parted the red sea, finished off Pharaoh, rained manna, and turned bitter water to sweet water is unable to conquer the giants before you? Fear is a direct insult on your God. Pause and carefully think about it. God says do something; fear says if you do it you will die. If you honour God and do it inspite of your fear, you will see God in action. But if you follow your fear and dwell on the ‘how’, you would have dishonored God. And God will not be happy. The only reason why David was able to conquer Goliath is because he kept his focus steadfastly on the God who delivered him when the lion and the bear came. Keep the past before you always. Keep in remembrance the victories God has brought you into in the past. And the giants before you now will seize to exist. Stop waiting for God to deal with the giants first before we walk into the land. God will give you that land inspite of the giants and not without the giants. God says, you will possess the land inspite of the giants.

Prayer: Father, let all that I am bless Your Holy Name for ever. You have done great and mighty things in my life. Thank You because the Egyptians I see now I will see then no more, in Jesus Name
