Fearless

‘Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear.  He is the one who should make you tremble’ Isa.8:13

People say that the phrase ‘Fear Not’ appears 365 times in the Bible. That is one for every day. Imagine your life fearless; imagine the things you could achieve if you are fearless. Picture your life when there is no one you cannot face and with no situation you cannot confront. Imagine what God can do with you, if you are fearless. That which you have imagined if you were fearless, is what God wants to do with you. Some people say everyone fears something or someone. While this is probably true, however God wants Him alone to be our fear [Isa.8:12-13]. When you kneel before God, you will stand before any man. The only reason why you are scared of man is because you have not really bowed to God. If you have seen God in His fearfulness and you are really afraid of God. Then you will know that man is just dust. The best of men is still a man and he is just dust. So why should you be afraid? You need to talk to your neighbor about Jesus, why should you be afraid, he is just a man. I have heard some people say do not fear God, do not have the terrific [terrible] fear of God. What you should have is the reverential fear of God. Yes, you should have the reverential fear of God but guess what you should also have the terrific fear of God. You need both. You can never live a holy life if you do not fear God, not reverentially only but terrifically [2 Cor.7:1]. If you do not fear God as a consuming fire, you can never live a holy life. You will keep excusing your sins because you do not fear God. People are fond of looking to the left and to the right before they sin, but they forget to look upwards. God is watching. A number of people are where they are because they do not fear God. You think He is your servant, who you call to get your errands done [I need a break through now]. And if He doesn’t open the door for you, you get angry, throw tantrums, and abuse your Pastor. ‘For our God is a devouring fire’ Heb.12:29.Until God is God you cannot really live a life of victory. Let God be God.

Prayer [song]: Lord, ‘Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee. Your Word is sharper than a two edged sword, You are a consuming fire. Hallelujah!’
