You Need To Know VI

‘When they heard the loud noise, everyone came running, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers’ Acts 2:6

You need to know that God intrudes. God does not always mind His business. Thank God He does not always mind his business.  For the people in the scripture reference, it seemed as though God had just intruded in their lives. God intrudes with ‘Attention Getters’. Attention getters usually shake the person to their very foundation. Many of us have loved ones who have refused to serve God. Perhaps it’s time to ask God to intrude in their lives and send attention getters. It is a tough prayer, yet it is because you love them and you need God to intrude in their lives. Some of us have children that are running wild. We need God to barge into their lives and send attention getters. Despite our efforts to keep Him out, God intrudes. The life of Jesus is bracketed by two impossibilities: a virgin’s womb and an empty tomb. Jesus entered our world through a door marked, ‘No Entrance’ and left through a door marked ‘No Exit’ -Peter Larson. It might sound like a dangerous prayer but if you want all of God in your life, perhaps it is time you ask God to intrude in your life. And let God have His way. ‘Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD’ Deut.8:3. You need to know that God is more than enough. Just like the Jews, God is saying the whole thing was to teach you one lesson – ‘I AM’ enough for you. The moment you understand this, you become free. Inspite of what you have or don’t have, God alone is enough. People tend to define their lives by what they have or don’t have. God is about to show you that the only one you need is Him. The only person that is important is God and if He does not show up you are in trouble. The only person that you need to dress for is God. You need to know that God will lead you in certain directions so that you will learn that He is the only person you need.

Prayer: My Heavenly Father, You are more than enough for me. I will worship, honour and adore You inspite of the wilderness. I ask You to intrude in my life Lord, in Jesus Name.
