Resurrection

‘He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying’ Matt.28:6

The beauty of resurrection or Easter as we know it is that through Jesus we can expect that every thing that is dying and ought to be alive in our lives will come back to life. Through Jesus we can expect that everything that is dead already that ought to be living will resurrect. We have the victory through Jesus Christ. Unfortunately for the enemy, he keeps forgetting the power of resurrection and making the same mistake he did with Jesus with us. The enemy sees your marriage has the potential to thrive and he attacks it. Stop lamenting, your marriage is going to resurrect with so much power that satan will regret ever attacking you. For some it is their finances that are under so much attack right now. Stop worrying and go with God. As God lives and as Jesus is alive your finances will resurrect and satan will regret ever attacking you. For some it is their ministry that is under attack, for some of us it is perhaps your health. But one thing God assures us because of this season of Easter is that He is not a looser. Jesus won and by the victory of Jesus, we win. Regardless of all that the enemy did to try to hold Him captive, on the third day Jesus arose. I am prophesying into your life today that your response to the people who come to check if you are still in that dead situation will be ‘why are you looking for the living among the dead’. When people’s expectation for you is a tomb, it will be announced to them – ‘she is risen, she is not here anymore’. I decree resurrection into every area of your life. The same way that death and hell could not hold Jesus captive, that situation will not hold you, your child, your marriage, or your business captive. And so shall it be in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Yet if you are reading this devotional today and marveling at all these wonderful things that can happen in our lives through Jesus but you know that Jesus is not the Lord of your life or you used to be close to Jesus but now you are far from Him. Then it is time to become a partaker of the resurrection power by making Jesus the Lord of your life.
