Seed Of Greatness

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, in the grave when you die” Eccl.9:10

Today you find that a lot of people are totally obsessed with the next step. Some even credit their obsession to not knowing God’s plans. Listen the first thing you need to resolve in your heart and embrace completely with all your heart is that God’s plans are good plans and they favour you. It would help you to say it out loud to yourself; God has a good plan for me and I accept God’s plans for me, they are plans of good to give me a hope and a future. God has good plans for you; however, while these plans unfold God wants you to give this phase of your life your all. “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, in the grave when you die” Ecc.9:10. There is no second chance at life on earth so whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. I met people that just want to build castles in the skies, even their legs are not touching the ground, they are not practical. These people are not even working where they currently are. Someone comes to me with a huge vision he believes God has shown him. God has showed me I am an evangelist and I say fantastic praise God, but go and find a local church and serve. I get an instant objection because as far as he is concerned his anointing is bigger than that of the Pastor because scripture states that first Apostles, then Prophets, then Evangelists before Pastors and Teachers. People that cannot do small things well will not do great things well. “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might” Someone comes to me to say she believes she is operating the prophetic anointing, beautiful but we need people to wash the toilets right now can you wash the toilets? Her response is you cannot see visions while washing the toilets. Look God can take you anywhere, if you are faithful in little God will promote you. Take note, your promotion comes from God and God alone. A young man came to me we had workers training and they submitted their forms and I was reading his form everything spelt choir. And I was going to minute on it “choir” and I felt God say to me send him to the prayer unit. I thought perhaps God wanted him to serve with the prayer unit and then bring him to the choir. It sounded like a good plan to me. If the head of the prayer unit wasn’t strong enough to deal with his rebellion, he would probably have scattered that unit. The young man came back to ask me if I had read his form because he wants to be in the choir. When I disagreed with him, the young man fought us and left the church. Will such attitudes lead to greatness?

Prayer: Lord, I ask for the grace to be faithful in little so that much more can be entrusted to me. And when more is entrusted to me, help me to be faithful still, in Jesus Name.
