The Advantage

“He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you” John 14:17

If you engage the Person of Jesus and deploy the principles of Jesus you get the miracles of Jesus! Engaging only His Person will give you comfort and eternal security. Deploying only His principles will give you success. But the intersection of the Person of Jesus and the principle of Jesus is the miracle of Jesus. So if you have the person of Jesus, you will have comfort on earth no matter what you are going through. If you disobey Jesus concerning your finances, you will go through hell in your finances. But the Holy Ghost will comfort you because He is the Comforter. If you dishonor God with your body [God forbid] and you fall sick. Guess what? The Holy Spirit will comfort you. If you dishonor God in your relationship and it fails. Guess what? The Holy Ghost will comfort you. He is committed to you eternally.

The truth is you do not need to be a Christian to have good relationships. There are non-Christians that have good marriages. But if you check their lives, they are obeying the principles of Jesus even though they may not have the Person of Jesus. And that is usually what confuses them because deploying only the principles of Jesus will give you success on earth. God wants you to have both. You will not only engage the Person of Jesus, you will deploy the principles of Jesus.

Yet as a child of God we have an edge over the world. Let me explain. The world can only deploy the inspired Word of God [the inspired principle that has been established]. As a child of God you can deploy that. And beyond that, you can deploy the principles of the voice of God. “Spit on the mud”, where is that written in the Bible? Jesus spat on the mud, right? But before Jesus did it, where was it written in the Bible? There are things that the Holy Spirit will tell you to do that will bring about a miracle in your life. Such things are not available to the world. There are instructions you will get that will turn impossible situations in your favour. And such instructions are not written anywhere. The benefit of the voice of the Lord is the privilege we have, the edge we have over the world.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit and Your voice. As I engage the Person of Jesus and deploy His principles, I will experience Miracles, in Jesus Name.
