Fulfilling Prophecy III

‘Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see’ Heb.11:1

The final step to fulfilling prophecy is that you Walk in it. Having faith and walking confidently depends on where your focus is. The way your life is currently is because of who you have been focusing on. Faith looks to God and acts based on His Word. Faith always has corresponding [appropriate] action. The action is walking in that prophecy even before you see it [See Heb.11:4-5]. Like the saying goes ‘if you want to be a millionaire, think like a millionaire’. Faith will cause you to walk in the fulfillment before the fulfillment actually manifests. Faith will cause you to carry yourself as though you are in the state you are believing God for. Faith always has a corresponding action. Show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works. Faith without works is dead. God has patterned it in such a way that without faith it is impossible to please God. A lot of us misinterpret this to mean that if I don’t believe God then I can’t please God. What God is saying is that if your belief does not translate to action, you cannot please Him. What are you believing God for; what steps do you need to take right now? What does God need to see that you are doing? How can you get a job when you are sleeping and waking up at 3pm and your excuse is that you have submitted your resume? Faith translates to getting up and knocking on those doors. You can’t be idle, there has to be a corresponding action that goes with the faith. You want to grow spiritually yet you don’t want to take any steps. Believing is just one step. Pick up your bible, pray more often and attend a spiritual growth class. Your spouse’s growth will not automatically transfer into your account. Some one cannot be going to the gym and another person’s muscles will be getting stronger. You need to take that step today and stop procrastinating on eternity. It is by faith you obey God and act on His word [Heb.11:7].

Prayer: Father, teach me by Your Spirit to act based on Your spoken Words of prophecy for me. Help me obey the instructions that require faith-acts in Jesus Name
