Destiny Written
‘…for He has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor… Then He began to speak to them. “The Scripture you’ve just heard has been fulfilled this very day!’ Luke 4:18&21
God’s specific destiny for each of us is revealed in two ways. It is revealed through the written Word – destiny written; and envisioned Word – destiny envisioned. Understanding this is key to growing roots, getting established and fulfilling destiny. So you might want to take notes. Your specific destiny is revealed through the written Word. This is why it is referred to as destiny written. Something has been written about you even before you were born. Everyone must locate that word in God’s Word. Daniel, David, Peter, Paul and even our Lord Jesus located their written destiny. Every one that will fulfill destiny in God must locate their specific destiny in the Word of God. Jesus located His specific destiny in the scriptures [Luke 4:17-21]. There is something God has written about you specifically and you must locate it to enter into your destiny. Daniel had to locate God’s written destiny for him and for Israel. ‘During the first year of his reign, I, Daniel learned from reading the word of the Lord as revealed to Jeremiah the prophet, that Jerusalem must lie desolate for seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and fasting…’ [Dan.9:2-3]. Daniel searched the Word and discovered that the time for the destiny fulfillment had come. Immediately, Daniel placed a demand on Heaven for the release of the Jews from captivity. A lot of us are spending longer than necessary in captivity because we refuse to locate the written Word of our destiny fulfilled. It is when you locate the word that you can place a demand on Heaven. It is the power in the written word that gives you the strength to petition Heaven until you get a release. Daniel located his destiny in the word. You have to locate yours. God’s Word will not return to Him void. It is God’s Word that you take to Him and He will fulfill by His Spirit. You need to locate your destiny written and claim it for God’s glory. Get intimate with God’s Word and locate your written destiny.
Prayer: Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask that as I engage in reading the Word daily, that You will help me locate my written destiny in the Word and bring it to fulfillment, in Jesus Name.
