Obey vs. Submit
Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (KJV)

Your Heart
Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” (NKJV, emphasis added)
God says you are to guard your heart with all diligence because all the issues of life including the course of your life, flows from your heart. Finishing Strong
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, an excellent fight. I have finished the race, my full course with all my might. And I have remained faithful, I’ve kept my heart full of faith.” (NLT & TPT, emphasis added).

Fixed Focus
Hebrews 12:2 “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honour beside God’s throne.”
To finish strong the fifth thing is you must Keep Your Focus on Jesus and Not Your Circumstances. Hebrews 12:2 “Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end….” (GNT, emphasis added). Pastor, how do I survive all this?
