The Race
Hebrews 12:2 “Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross…” (GNT)
How do you know what God’s race is for your life? A big pointer is to look at your S.H.A.P.E. Your Spiritual gifts, your Heart (what do you have a heart for?). Look at your Abilities, what abilities do you have? Look at your Personality and look at your Experiences. Read the rest of this entry

Historical Relay
2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (NKJV, emphasis added).
From our focus scripture for the past few days, Hebrews 11:35– Hebrews 12:4, the first thing that stands out is Faith Does Not Spare Us From All Pain! The second thing is Some Of God’s Promises Will Be Fulfilled In Eternity! And the third thing is, We Are Runners In A Historical Relay Race! Hebrews 11:40 “Because God had us in mind and had something better and greater in view for us, so that they [these heroes and heroines of faith] should not come to perfection apart from us [before we could join them].” (AMPC). Not Without Pain
Acts 7:56-58 “And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honour at God’s right hand!” Then they put their hands over their ears and began shouting. They rushed at him and dragged him out of the city and began to stone him…”
Today’s anchor scripture is about Stephen (please read Acts 6-7). Do you know that fourteen million people a year die simply because they are Christians? It is all about your faith. The battle within, the battle around, and the battle against is all about your faith. Just like Jesus prayed for Peter, again I pray for you, that your faith will not fail in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Luke 22:31-32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to have you, to sift you like wheat, but I have pleaded in prayer for you that your faith should not completely fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen and build up the faith of your brothers.” (LB, emphasis added).
Who can understand the failure someone going through bankruptcy feels better than someone that has gone through bankruptcy? Who understands the feeling of failure that someone who has lost his job feels better than someone who has lost his job before? Read the rest of this entry
Build Others

Witness
John 1:41-42 “Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means “Christ”). Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus. Looking intently… Jesus said, “Your name is Simon, son of John—but you will be called Cephas” (which means “Peter”).”
To pay attention to the things that can grow my faithfulness, the things God wants me to pay attention to, first I need to know that God Uses The Little Things To Test My Faithfulness. Secondly, God Uses My Talent To Test My Unselfishness. Read the rest of this entry
