Remember!

Deuteronomy 25:19 “Therefore, when the Lord your God has given you rest from all your enemies in the land he is giving you as a special possession, you must destroy the Amalekites and erase their memory from under heaven. Never forget this!” (emphasis added)

Do Not Forget!

Psalm 77:10-12 “And I said, “This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.” But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.”

Ruminate

Deuteronomy 4:39 “So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.”

Recorded

Malachi 3:16 “Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honour of his name.”

 

The main problem of man is that man is a creature of forgetfulness, man forgets. We forget easily. That is why great kings of old had books of remembrance (records, chronicles) where they wrote events. Read the rest of this entry

Wins Out

Habakkuk 3:17-18 “Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, Though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, Though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God…”  (MSG).

 

The enemy’s only objective for putting pressure on you externally is so that he can pressure your mind. More people are taken out by internal battles (in the mind), than external battles (of life). Read the rest of this entry

Align & Remember

Take A Stand

2 Chronicles 16:9 “The eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them.” (LB, emphasis added).

1 Corinthians 7:35 “…do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.” (emphasis added).

 

Why? Luke 9:62Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” Sadly, people have walked away from the place of their assignment and purpose, for whatever reason, but definitely not God. Read the rest of this entry
