The Benefit
Isaiah 40:29-31 “He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak. Even the youths shall be exhausted, and the young men will all give up. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles… (LB).

Through Christ
2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.”
John Piper says, “As sinners, the only thing we deserve is God’s judgment.” And this is a very huge punch. I had to really wrestle with this statement for a long time.
