Choose Light
‘For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!’ Eph.5:8
Today’s devotional is inspired by a story, a parable if you will; two young boys, Bob and James, cousins. Bob was born and has lived all his formative years abroad. He is accustomed to uninterrupted power supply, this is what he knows. James on the other hand, was born and has lived all his formative years in Nigeria. James knows what it is to go three weeks without power supply. And as the story goes, Bob and his father came to visit. At dinner on their first Read the rest of this entry

‘…For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it’. Luke18:16b-17
Some people want to enter into the Kingdom and the abundance of God but are ‘too big’ to meet the requirements. Jesus says whoever wants to enter the Kingdom of God must come as a little child. In other words, entering the Kingdom means shredding every trace of pride, self-righteousness, self-sufficiency etc. For the Kingdom of God to manifest in your finances, Read the rest of this entry
It’s All in the Word
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. Isa. 55:11
Once God speaks, the Word has enough in its self to bring to pass what God has spoken. God’s Word is potent. When you are standing outside your promise land staring in at the giants that are currently occupying it, what you want most is for God to send a mighty hand but God is sending His potent and timeless Word. The Word that is released to accomplish all that God has Read the rest of this entry
And God Said: Revelations
‘And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!’ Ex.3:14 [AMP]
And God said and God is still saying revelations. Paul, understanding the need for constant revelations in every Christian’s life, prayed ‘[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him’ Eph. 1:17[AMP]. In other words, that Read the rest of this entry
And God Said: Light
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen.1:3
Every Word God says does not go without accomplishing what God has sent it to do. ‘And God said, Let there be light: and there was light’. Be assured that every Word God has said concerning you will definitely complete its purpose in your life. What God has said, He is saying and He will continue to say. Take God’s Word and personalize it, are you experiencing darkness in any part of Read the rest of this entry
And God said
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. Gen.1:20
Nothing enduring happens until God speaks. If you check the beginnings of everything worthwhile, you will find out that God has spoken. ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God’ [John 1:1 KJV]. God’s idea of getting to work is not rolling up His sleeves but speaking things into being. The thing that God is about to begin in your life, He is going Read the rest of this entry
Keys to Please I
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out] Heb.11:6 [AMP]
Without faith and your heart, you cannot please God. You need to constantly hear God to know how to go about pleasing Him at every stage of your walk with God. The Word is one sure way to hear God constantly. I encourage you to surround yourself with audio messages and take it a step further with an audio version of the Bible. Faith comes by consistently hearing the Word of God. The Read the rest of this entry
Walking with God
I will set My dwelling in and among you, and My soul shall not despise or reject or separate itself from you. And I will walk in and with and among you and will be your God, and you shall be My people. Lev. 26:11-12[AMP]
God wants to have a relationship with you. Through Jesus, He established a more personal relationship with us were we can talk to Him personally and not through a priest. Walking with God demands two things; first is Agreeing with God, the second thing is Pleasing God.
- Agreement: Walking with God requires agreement [Amos3:3]. Ask Read the rest of this entry
The key to Personal Harmony
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Isaiah.26:3[KJV]
You will keep in perfect peace ALL who trust in You, ALL whose thoughts are fixed on You! Isa.26:3 [NLT]. The only route to perfect peace is God. You cannot put your trust in the wealth of your hands [wealth which God has permitted] and expect perfect peace. Trust is a deeper level of faith; regardless of what you can see, you believe beyond any doubt that God has already come Read the rest of this entry
7th Root of Personal Disharmony: Doubt
[For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides] James1:8 [AMP]
Doubt is a major pointer to personal disharmony. Doubt basically occurs when there is no harmony between your spirit man and your intellectual man. Your heart says one things and your mind says something totally different. You are in service or listening to an audio message or perhaps even studying the Bible, and then your spirit man picks up on what God wants to do. Your spirit man Read the rest of this entry
