Voice Of Logic

‘Aren’t the rivers of Damascus, the Abana and the Pharpar, better than any of the rivers of Israel? Why shouldn’t I wash in them and be healed?” So Naaman turned and went away in a rage’ 2 kings 5:12

The third voice that Naaman experienced was the voice of logic – the voice of reason. In Naaman’s logical mind, there were rivers in Damascus that were far better than the rivers in Israel. If all he required was to be dipped and become clean then why was it necessary to come all the way to Israel? It did not make any sense to him. Many times God’s instruction does not align with your thinking. Naaman had a fair idea of how the healing process would play out. He expected that the Read the rest of this entry

Voice Of Instruction

‘But Elisha sent a messenger out to him with this message: “Go and wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River. Then your skin will be restored, and you will be healed of your leprosy’ 2 kings 5:10.

The second voice Naaman experienced after he moved in the direction of the first voice was the voice of instruction. ‘Elisha sent a messenger out to him with this message: “Go and wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River. Then your skin will be restored, and you will be healed of your leprosy”. This made Naaman extremely furious. “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said. “I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the Read the rest of this entry

Voice Of Direction

‘One day the girl said to her mistress, “I wish my master would go to see the prophet in Samaria. He would heal him of his leprosy’ 2 king 5:3.

Naaman experienced five voices. We must understand these five voices. A lot of people experience the first three voices but I am praying that we’ll get to experience the last two in addition. The first voice that Naaman experienced was the voice of direction. The voice of direction said to Naaman there is a prophet in Israel. Many of us are looking for the voice of direction. Some are waiting for thunder and lightening and the voice of God. For Naaman, the voice of direction came from Read the rest of this entry

King, Priest, and Prophet

‘And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen’ Rev.1:6 [KJV].

The letter to the king of Israel said: “With this letter I present my servant Naaman. I want you to heal him of his leprosy.” When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes in dismay and said, “This man sends me a leper to heal! Am I God, that I can give life and take it away? I can see that he’s just trying to pick a fight with me2 Kings 5:6-7. The king of Aram placed a demand on the king of Israel for what only a prophet can deliver. The king of Israel immediately Read the rest of this entry

Pray To God!

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens! Praise Him from the skies! Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven!Ps.148:1-2.

It is only when Jesus is being lifted up that angels are free to do what they are created to do. ‘We are standing on holy ground. And I know that there are angles all around. Let us praise Jesus now. We are standing in His presence on holy ground’. As the song points out, the object of our worship is not the angels around us but Jesus Himself. It is only the presence of God that can make a place holy. ‘If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High Read the rest of this entry

Worship God!

‘Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, No don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you… who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship God. For the essence of prophecy is to give clear witness for Jesus’ Rev.19:10

‘Worship God. For the essence of prophecy is to give clear witness for Jesus. What the angel was actually saying is that the whole essence of prophecy is to lift up Jesus. The whole essence of all that the angel had shown John, the heart of it, was to lift up Jesus. So an angel of God will not accept worship but will point to the worship of Jesus. ‘Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial or the worship of angels, saying they have had Read the rest of this entry

To Protect

‘Then Peter came to himself and said, Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating’ Acts 12:11 [NIV].

Angels protect us from danger. ‘Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared… He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. Quick get up! He said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. Then the angel said to him, Put on your clothes and sandals. And Peter did so. Wrap your cloak around you and follow me, the angel told himActs 12:7-8[NIV]. Every chain that has been placed on your hands and legs will fall off today. God will send His angels to rescue you from all Read the rest of this entry

In His Will

‘Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty one who carry out His plans, listening for each of His commands’ Ps.103:20.

Scripture points to the fact that little children have angels assigned to them and their angels are constantly in the presence of God. Jesus says that unless we are like little children, then we shall not enter the Kingdom of God [Matt.18:3]. There is something about the heart of little children that is acceptable to God and which makes it possible to for them to have angels around them. However, as we begin to grow and dabble into all sorts of negative things, we begin to rebel against God and against what God will have us do. A Read the rest of this entry

Be Aware VII

‘in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes’ 2 Cor.2:11 [NIV]

God wants you to be free. So you need to battle satan. And in battling satan, the first thing you need to know is that we don’t treat our enemy lightly. In a war situation, it is kill or be killed, fire or be fired at. ‘But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!Jude 1:9[NIV]. Do not treat the enemy lightly. One of the major lies of the devil that I have seen him use to destroy destinies is he Read the rest of this entry

Know This I

‘Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth’ Phil.2:9-10.

You need to know a couple of things that will be of immense value to you when it comes to warfare.  First and foremost is the supremacy of Jesus. Jesus is the head of all principalities and powers. ‘Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father’ Phil.2:9-11. The three sections Read the rest of this entry
