John 14:¹² “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. greater works, than this shall you do. Why, how? Because I go to my father.”

We will kick off today with our final thought from yesterday and go on from there. As long as you are in this flesh, you can have a limitless experience. God can introduce to your generations that which eyes have not seen, and ears have not heard. However, once it has been introduced, it becomes a limited experience for the next generation. Proverbs 20:²⁷ “The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.” (AMPC)

Man’s spirit, the part of man that is made in the image of God is actually limitless. So why am I so limited? Why don’t I overcome challenges and barriers? Exodus 28:³⁵ “Aaron will wear this robe whenever he ministers before the Lord, and the bells will tinkle as he goes in and out of the Lord’s presence in the Holy Place. If he wears it, he will not die.”

John 21:¹⁷ “A third time he asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep.”

The first fish burger ever made was made by Jesus. If you check, Jesus hardly calls Peter by his full name with his surname. In fact, Jesus gave him a nickname. So, when you have someone like Jesus, someone in authority, call you by your full name. Read the rest of this entry →

Luke 1:³⁸ “Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” (NIV, emphasis added).

We overestimate our ability to control. If you think about it, you really do not control the major things in your life. The truth is you do not control the biggest events in your life. Luke 1: ^34-35 “Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God” (emphasis added).

Don’t you just love God and how He relates with us? God did not have to explain anything to Mary. Mary could just have woken up and boom, she is pregnant. God could have just done what He wanted to do. Then Mary wakes up perplexed, confused, and confounded and God says, ‘Sorry, I did not mention. Read the rest of this entry →

Ephesians 4:^31-32 “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (NIV, emphasis added)

So, how do I get rid of bitterness? To get rid of all bitterness, we do what the Bible says in our anchor scripture. The first is Kill Bitterness With Compassion. And the second is Kill Bitterness With Forgiveness.
