God Wants You

‘Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself’ Jer.31:3

The best offering you can give God is yourself. The best gift you can give to Him is the gift of you. We are too quick to think that God is interested in what we have and that is why He wants to befriend us. So people think that as soon as they give their tithe and offering they have done their part. It is good to give offerings to God, it is wonderful that we can pay our tithe but this is not what God is after. The Bible says He owns the cattle upon a thousand hills, if God is hungry do you think you can feed Him? What food do you think you can Read the rest of this entry

Seeking God

‘So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and fasting’ Dan.9:3a

Seeking God is crucial to our love walk. It is in seeking God that we discover why we do what we do and get the understanding to live according to His purpose. Seeking God requires humility and sacrifice. Fasting is seeking God; a choice to abstain for the purpose of seeking God. The primary reason why we fast is to seek God and be still ‘in His presence where there is fullness of joy’. In other words, when you put certain things aside to make God priority and go deeper, He sorts you out. ‘That is why the LORD says, “Turn to me now, Read the rest of this entry

His Protocols

‘Do not come any closer, the Lord warned. Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground …When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God’ Ex.3:5; 6b

God has His protocols. The key to maximizing your time with God is understanding the protocol of His presence and the protocol of His power. Access to God is one thing, and approaching Him is a totally different thing all together. The protocol of His presence and power are intertwined but can be separated. God in His word outlines the code of behavior for approaching the King of Kings. Make the most of your access into His Read the rest of this entry

Experiencing His Face

‘Then the LORD came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and He called out His own name, Yahweh’ Exodus 34:5

Seeking the Face is experiencing the presence of God. Really when you seek His face, you will find fullness of joy in His presence and discover His right hand which has pleasures for evermore. God will work amazing miracles in our lives by His hand but let us seek His presence. And walk in an increased measure of His presence that you carry. It comes by hunger, you must desire His presence. When you seek His face you get access into His presence. God’s presence comes with responsibilities. It demands that Read the rest of this entry

Experiencing His Hand

‘But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel’ Acts 9:15.

‘The Hand of God’, is a term people loosely use to describe the Power of God. When God’s hand is upon any situation, the game is sure to change. When you seek His Hand you get access to His power. For centuries man has sought the Hand of God for various reasons. The power of God doesn’t change us; it is His presence that changes us. That is why it is possible for people to experience God’s power perhaps in healing and still Read the rest of this entry

Governed By His Principles

‘Abel also brought a gift – the best of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The Lord accepted Abel and his gift’ Gen.4:4

We all have questions such as why there are still people who do not get healed or experience breakthrough after healing and breakthrough services. One of the reasons is that you need to submit to God as the Sovereign God. If you understand the dynamics of the Sovereignty of God, you will realize that it is not to paralyze us. Look at it this way, God does not rule the earth through His Sovereignty. God rules the earth through His principles, His laws. Through His Read the rest of this entry

My Lord!

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. Ps.23:1 [NLT]

The beauty of having a personal walk or being in a relationship with God is that you get personal revelations of who God really is. You get to know who God really is for yourself. It is one thing to know about someone, it is another thing to know the person. Just like it is one thing to know about the state governor and it’s another thing to know him personally. Knowing about him does not Read the rest of this entry

And God Said: Ask Anything

That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!” 1 Kings 3:5

Solomon loved the Lord and followed all the decrees of his father, David, …The most important of these places of worship was at Gibeon, so the king went there and sacrificed 1,000 burnt offerings. That night the Lord appeared…, and God said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!’ [1 Kings 3:3-5]. And God said and God is still saying ask anything that you want. First comes the Read the rest of this entry

Sole Authority

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Timothy.3:16-17

You cannot live your life based solely on what people say except you are taking God out of your life’s equation. What if, what they are saying is contrary to what God is saying concerning your direction at that time? While the Word of God advices that it is wisdom to surround yourself with godly counsel; the source of this advice is the Word. It is even more wisdom to make God’s Word Read the rest of this entry

Satisfaction

The Lord, will comfort Israel again and have pity on her ruins. Her desert will blossom like Eden, her barren wilderness like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found there. Songs of thanksgiving will fill the air. Isa.51:3 [NLT]

The truth is that, the only person you are capable of totally pleasing is God. The converse is also true; the only person who can totally please you is God. If you think that when you get married you would be able to please your spouse completely, nothing can be further than that from the truth. You cannot totally please your spouse and your spouse cannot totally please you. Stop looking for Read the rest of this entry
