Blessed Order

Ecclesiastes 5:19 “If God gives us wealth and property and lets us enjoy them, we should be grateful and enjoy what we have worked for. It is a gift from God.” (GNT, emphasis added).

God’s Gifts

2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

We will kick off today’s devotional with the final thought from yesterday which is, do not just have a budget, live on it. The truth is, it is one thing to have a budget, and that in itself is great. Source Principle

Deuteronomy 8:17-18 “If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again. Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this…” (MSG)

Sustained Traction

Genesis 8:22 “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” (NIV)

God is a God of laws. He established the physical world with physical laws, the same way He established the spiritual world with spiritual laws. In other words, there are physical laws and there are spiritual laws. Read the rest of this entry
