Repentance

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Psalm 51:1

I encourage you to read the entire Psalm 51; it is a comprehensive lesson on repentance God’s way. When it comes to sin and repentance, God expects us to respond in three ways. Firstly, we must see that there is a problem. ‘Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love…’ Ps.51:1a. David in his heart accepted that there was a problem and so he sought God for mercy and Read the rest of this entry

It’s All in the Word

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. Isa. 55:11

Once God speaks, the Word has enough in its self to bring to pass what God has spoken. God’s Word is potent. When you are standing outside your promise land staring in at the giants that are currently occupying it, what you want most is for God to send a mighty hand but God is sending His potent and timeless Word. The Word that is released to accomplish all that God has Read the rest of this entry

Tussle

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 2 Cor.10:4

You must understand that for every Word God gives you there is a constant tussle until the Word accomplishes God’s purpose in your life. For you to go to the next level, God will give you a Word, and then men will give you a word. It is almost an eternal battle between what God is saying and what men are saying concerning you. And God Said: Ask Anything

That night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, “What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!” 1 Kings 3:5

Solomon loved the Lord and followed all the decrees of his father, David, …The most important of these places of worship was at Gibeon, so the king went there and sacrificed 1,000 burnt offerings. And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed. Num.22:12

And God said and God is still saying revelations. Paul, understanding the need for constant revelations in every Christian’s life, prayed ‘[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him’ Eph. 1:17[AMP]. In other words, that Read the rest of this entry

And God Said: Destiny Provoking Name Change

‘Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee… And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be’. Gen 17:5 &15.

God said and God is still saying destiny provoking name change. For some people, God is going to give you a new name because the one you have currently is destiny limiting. Many times people are limited by the names they are carrying and the only way to break free is a name change from the One who knows tomorrow. God had to change Abraham’s name from Abram [high, Read the rest of this entry
