Anti-Seduction Strategy II

The woman approached him,
seductively dressed and sly of heart… She threw her arms around him and kissed him, and with a brazen look…’ Prov.7:10 & 13

Anti-seduction strategy two: Access Control. For instance, everybody can log into a network but not everybody has the same access control. Some people can access some files while some people cannot. Some people can get to some certain servers while some others cannot. Some servers are even demi-literalized zones [DMZ]; you do not even know they exist. You need to have access control in your life. There are certain people that you should not hug because they are carrying fire. And the Bible says ‘will a man take fire in his bosom and not get burnt?’ Even in access control there is a time factor. Certain people should not be able to access you at certain times of the day and at certain seasons in your life. There are certain times in my life that certain people cannot even access me at all because I am curled up somewhere with the Holy Ghost. A man once came to me seeking help about a certain lady from his past. Although he was now married, whenever that lady from his past calls him, she gives him instructions and he must obey. He wanted us to pray about the situation. I simply said that the first step is for him to drive to the lagoon, take that SIM card and throw it into the water. Get a new SIM card and give his new number to the people who he wants to contact him. And he said he couldn’t do that. So I dismissed him. Some people do not really want a solution. Cut the access!

Anti-seduction strategy three: Accountability Partner. There must be at least one person in your life that you are totally transparent to. When something comes to threaten your purity, there must be at least one person you can run to and bare it all. And the person prays with you and supports you through it. Find one person. If you are married you want to start with your spouse. You are not only accountable when there is ‘fire on the mountain’ but also to ethical standards. The person can hold you accountable to certain standards for example, not browsing pornographic sites.

Prayer: Father, help me implement these anti-seduction strategies in my life beginning from today, in Jesus Name.
