A Message For You I

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit’ Ecc.7:8 [KJV].

While preparing this and waiting on God, believe it or not, God told me to tell you some things. And over the next few days, I will be relaying the Holy Spirit’s message to you in this season. The first thing I believe the Holy Spirit said I should tell you is no matter how your day started it is not a determinant of how the day will end. God is saying how your day started does not determine how it will end. Some of us are overly concerned and agitated because our day didn’t start right. That day could mean the year started with a bump. Or your marriage, your education, your business, or whatever your day is has not started right. And so you are scared and confused. But God said I should say to you today that the fact that your day has not started or did not start right does not mean you will not end well. In fact, you will end well, in the Name of Jesus. No doubt! The two most important parts of any venture are the beginning and the end. The pilot will tell you that the most crucial parts of flying are taking off and landing. So you will notice that’s when they inform you about the safety measures and enforce some of them such as fasten your seat belt, pull up your chair, and show you where the lifejacket is. The beginning and the end are crucial no doubt. But remember that God introduced Himself to John in the island of Patmos as ‘…the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending”. So starting is good but finishing is better. How you start is good but how you finish is better. And guess what the Bible says ‘Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than prideEcc.7:8. Some of us are going through so many storms right now; know this, you will look back at this day and you will smile. God has not forgotten you. It is quite sobering because regardless of whether your day started poorly, it means that God is giving you hope and assurance today that the end will be better. If your days started well, its also sobering because it means you shouldn’t relax as the beginning doesn’t necessarily determine the end. If you started well in your business, don’t sleep! Some people say fasting is for those who have problems in their business or their lives. They opt out of fasting because they don’t have problems. My grandmother would say “fast so that you don’t have to fast”.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your comforting and timely message. I declare that my end shall be better than my beginning, in Jesus Name.
