Enduring Word

So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses’ Job 42:12 [KJV].

No matter how you start you must learn to endure. This year has begun well for a lot of people, praise God for that. But the fact that you have begun well is not a determinant of how the ending will be. But we know that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending. So if He has begun well with you, you can trust that things will go well with you and He will end even better with you in the Name of Jesus. You must learn to endure – persevere. You must be consistently diligent. And one way to learn endurance and to be consistent from the beginning to the end is through the Word of God. ‘Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever.Psa.119:160 [KJV]. God’s Word is true from the beginning and endures to the end. So for you to be consistent, you must hold God’s Word from the beginning and hang onto that Word till the end. Sadly, a lot of people are just very lazy. A small respite and people just begin to loaf and faff  around. Many times when God gives us respite instead of us to be proactive and be consistent, we just relax. And the Bible says ‘while men slept’. The enemy does not sleep; he is watching and waiting to catch you sleeping so that he can sow tares. I’m praying today that every tare that has been sown in our lives, marriages, businesses, finances, and destinies will be terminated. The soil of our lives will not be conducive to every seed of the enemy in the Name of Jesus.

The good news for you today is how the life of job was described [Job 42:12]. No matter how good your beginning has been, God will bless your end more than your beginning in the mighty Name of Jesus. Just don’t be lazy. Its not only the slot that is a lazy animal, the snail is also a very lazy animal. It is not only slow; scientists say a snail can sleep for three human years. Maybe that is just three snail hours because different creatures have different timings. God is warning somebody here very urgently, you have slept enough. So how your day began does not determine how it will end.

Prayer [song]: [My] latter will be greater than [my] past, [I] will be blessed, more than [I] could ask. Despite all that has been done, the best is yet to come. [My] latter will be greater than [my] past. Amen.
