Prosperity Test III

‘They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life’ 1 Tim 6:18-19.

‘He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’ Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods. 19 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’ Luke 12:17-19. The fool thinks by storing up his money he will be securing a good foundation for his future. God says that’s a fool. God is saying for you to secure a good foundation for the future – do good, help people, and lift up those that are down. Then you will be storing up a good foundation for the future. I see people responding properly to the prosperity test in God’s Favourite House. I am excited about some people but I am concerned about some people. But I am praying that all of us will get it. That God will not look for another group of people that He will choose to work with, in Jesus Name. We sent missions to the mission field in Sierra Leone and they had amazing testimonies. When we called for people to volunteer to go on the mission trip, someone came to me that he would like to go but his business schedule would not allow. So he paid for one person’s fare. A couple came to me and said they would like to go but cannot go, so they paid for two people’s fare. That is how to be rich – rich in good works. Declare this aloud – God Has Blessed Us With More Than We Need. We Are Grateful. We Are Rich. But We Will Not Trust In Riches, But In Him Who Richly Provides For Us. Because We Have More, We’ll Give More & Do More! Now personalize it – because I have more, I will give more and I will do more!”

How do you give more? I am going to teach you how to give more from the Word of God. You give more by creating margin. ‘In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has Prov. 21:20. The man that devours all he has is a foolish man. How do I create margin? You create margin by earning more and spending less. When God gives you that breakthrough and you have earned more, your next step is not to step up but to spend less.

Prayer: Precious Spirit of Christ, teach me to secure a foundation for the future by consistently doing good works, in Jesus Name.
