Prayerful Beginnings II

‘Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior’ 1Tim.2:2-3.

If only Christians knew the power in prayer, they will pray without ceasing about anything and everything. Prayer is so important. Today we will continue in the place of prayer. We are going to start by commanding everything that has stood as a gate before us or will stand as a gate before us to be lifted up. ‘Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of gloryPs.24:7-10 [KJV]. Pray concerning your home, marriage, finances, and for Nigeria.

Still praying for Nigeria; ‘And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonmentEzra.7:26. We are going to pray that every leader in this nation will do the will of God. That everyone that will not do the will of God that judgment will be executed upon them speedily whether it is death, or confiscation of goods, or banishment, or imprisonment.

David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied’ 1Sam.17:45. Speak to everything that represents or might be a Goliath in the Name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Conquer, kill, and cut off its head by faith. And God shall make it manure for your land, in Jesus Name.

He drove out the nations before them; he gave them their inheritance by lot.
He settled the tribes of Israel into their homes’ Ps.78:55. Ask God to drive out every nation occupying your inheritance and settle you in that inheritance in 2014 and 2015.

When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Mark.10:47. Now you are going to pray for yourself because except God has mercy on us there is nothing we can do. He says ‘I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy’. But if He chooses to have mercy, there is nothing the enemy or the haters of your destiny can do. For you to be reading this today, I have a feeling that God has chosen to have mercy on you.

Prayer [song]: Pass me not O gentle Saviour. Hear my humble cry. While on others thou art calling, do not pass me by. Amen.
