Grounded
“Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness” Col.2:7
Where your treasure is there your heart will be also. It is as simple as that and this is why God wants your money. I hope all this is beginning to make sense to you now. Say it aloud to yourself; God wants my money because He wants my life.
God gives some men of God graces in different areas. I understand that but some people are just “Topical Apostles”. They take truth and inadvertently push it into error. They take a truth like holiness and push it into error. Back in the day, if a lady sits on a chair and gets up, the holiness people say a man needs to wait for some time before he can sit on that same chair. That has nothing to do with God. Then there are the Pentecostals that push the Holy Ghost baptism into error. Someone once asked me if God’s Favourite House, the church I Pastor, is Pentecostal. I said no. So why do we speak in tongues, because it is in the Bible. Do we fellowship with Pentecostals, Baptists, and Anglicans? Yes, we fellowship with believers. Deliverance, salvation, holiness, Pentecost, are legitimate experiences that God wants you to have as His child but some people push them into error. For some the only thing they do is deliverance. All the negative altars I have eaten from, I vomit everything, in Jesus name. I prayed that prayer yesterday night, today I am praying that same prayer, then tomorrow I am praying that same prayer, what is wrong with me? Something is wrong there. When we pray, we believe that He has heard us. I believe that deliverance exists and we have seen a lot of deliverances for which we praise God but some people preach deliverance into error. Some people preach grace in such a way that their churches are filled with fornicators. Grace, deliverance, holiness and salvation are legitimate. Every Christian must not ignore any of these things otherwise you will not have a complete Christian experience. The same goes with prosperity; I do not need to tell you how prosperity has been preached into error. But if you ignore prosperity principles in the Bible, you are doing yourself major harm. If you ignore the principles of prosperity because of the error, you may die in poverty. If you ignore the principle of grace because of the error, you will suffer under the law. But that is not your portion. If you ignore the principle of deliverance because of error, you will have challenges. You cannot ignore the principle of holiness because of error. The key thing here is; God expects you and I to be grounded in His Word.
Prayer [song]: Order my steps in Your Word, Dear Lord. Teach me, guide me, everyday. Send Your anointing, Father, I pray order my steps in Your Word. Yes, Order my steps in Your Word. Amen.
