Impregnable!

“And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it…” Lev.6:12 [emphasis added].

Functioning in your priesthood makes your life impregnable to the enemy. Every time they try, they will fail, in Jesus Name. Some time ago, I was not a Pastor yet but I was a believer at the time and in relationship with God. I was running rampant for Jesus. My business was anywhere I see trouble, that’s where I want to be in. Anywhere somebody had a demon-possessed issue, my response was, ‘demon possessed issue? When Jesus is alive? Bring him or her here’. That was how I used to be but I am not like that anymore because I have discovered that it is not every battle I should be fighting. Back then I was just looking for trouble and anywhere I smelt any altar that was not of God, I destroyed it and it stayed destroyed. I had a group of friends who also were new believers and we were on fire together.

So one of the altars that I came against, the priest of the altar said to me in Yoruba, “you this boy, you want to spoil business for me? I give you five years, I have fired a bullet at you”. In my mind I thought, why does your bullet have to take five years? I can fire one at you right now and it will be effective. But I just ignored it, why, because my altar is consistently sustained and attended to by the grace of God. True to his words, the week he said it, I had a spiritual encounter. I was shot at and I tried to dodge but the bullet hit my hand and lodged there. And I said, Lord? And an angel of the Lord came, smiled at me, took my hand. and popped out the bullet. The place was healed immediately. And I was taken out of that experience. I then realized that that priest had actually fired the bullet. But you know how spiritual things; like I always say to you, every time you are attacked you have to respond. I responded. I left the matter and totally forgot about it. Years later, I was told the man’s first child was shot dead in a part of town. So I counted and guess what? It was exactly five years after. So the bullet was roving in the spirit realm but still could not land and in five years it went back to the sender, landed on his son and he died. What am I saying to you today? There is more to life than meets the eye. We are about the glory of God but we are not fools to think that satan does not exist. As you sustain your altar before God, your life will be impregnable to the enemy. They will come at you a thousand times and they will fall ten thousand times, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. You may be reading this and wishing your life can be impregnable. It can be today! The first step is to give your life to Jesus.

Prayer: Father, I stand as You have appointed me, a Priest, King, and prophet. I arise in my priesthood over my altars and declare that my life is impregnable, in Jesus Name.
