Do Not Doubt!

No, even if everyone else is a liar, God will always do what he says. As the Scriptures say about him, “You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win when people accuse you” Rom.3:4 [ERV]

What if some did not believe and were without faith? Does their lack of faith and their faithlessness nullify and make ineffective and void the faithfulness of God and His fidelity [to His Word]? By no means! Let God be found true though every human being is false and a liar, as it is written, That You may be justified and shown to be upright in what You say, and prevail when You are judged [by sinful men]” Rom.3:3-4 [AMP]. Your doubt does not nullify the Word of God. And God is sending us clear messages in His Word this season which it is do not doubt. As you experience the miraculous or see it play out around you, God is saying to you do not doubt. Take away doubt. Some of us doubt ourselves. We think we are not good enough to get a good job like xyz person. We doubt that we can ever be good enough to have the kind of spouse xyz person has. But God is saying to you, do not doubt.

Growing up it was wired into us not to doubt ourselves, which is a good thing. It was wired into us to believe that we can do whatever it was we needed to do. All I needed to check is does the first person that did it have two heads? And if I cannot see two heads on his or her head that means I can do it too. As parents we need to instill that kind of confidence in our children. Teach them not to doubt themselves but rather to believe they can and should get the best. And they can because God is with them. Sometimes, we do not only doubt ourselves but we doubt others. And it is usually because people we have trusted have lied to us so when innocent people come along, we doubt them. We doubt people for no reason. A lady says all men are liars. Why would she say that? It is because she has had bad experiences with liars. I said to her sorry not all men are liars because I am not a liar. For every Elijah there are seven thousand other prophets that have not bowed to Baal and that is the truth. So do not doubt.

Some of us do not only doubt ourselves and doubt others, we doubt Jesus. But Jesus is standing before us today, asking us for just one thing – believe. It is true that some Jews were not faithful to God. But will that stop God from doing what he promised? No, even if everyone else is a liar, God will always do what he says. As the Scriptures say about him, “You will be proved right in what you say,
and you will win when people accuse youRom.3:3-4 [ERV]. Jesus is asking us to believe.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, teach me to believe and not to doubt, teach me to believe every Word that proceeds from the mouth of the Living God, in Jesus Name.
