The Intersection

“But if I am casting out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.” Luke 11:20 [emphasis added]

Jesus performed three main types [categories] of miracles. The first category is miracles that affect people. Jesus healed the sick, Jesus cast out demons, and raised the dead. The second category is miracles that control nature. Jesus walked on water, commanded the wind to be still and the storm was stilled. The third category is miracles that controlled material things. Jesus paid His tax with a coin from the mouth of a fish. Jesus fed five thousand by multiplying five loaves and two fish. Your assignment today is to read your Bible and find examples of Jesus’ miracles that affected people, miracles that controlled nature, and miracles that controlled material things.

But why did Jesus perform miracles? Was He doing it just to show off? “But if I am casting out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.” Luke 11:20 [emphasis added]. Jesus performed miracles to show that the Kingdom of God has arrived. A miracle is evidence [proof] that the Kingdom of God has arrived. So when you see miracles, and you will see them in abundance from today, understand that God is doing these miracles so that you and I will know that the Kingdom of God is here. And that is so profound because the supernatural life is common place in the Kingdom of heaven.

Slide1The world is filled with sicknesses, storms, lack, demons, depression etc. While the Kingdom of God is filled with the power of God, the glory of God, righteousness, peace, Joy etc. When the Kingdom of God intersects with the world, healings, deliverances, miracles, begin to happen. The things that are normal in the Kingdom begin to reverse the things that are normal in the world, to make them align with the norm in the Kingdom. You really need to understand this. The Kingdom of God has arrived!

Prayer: Father, I pray that my life will constantly be a sign that the Kingdom of God is here, in Jesus Name.
