Kingdom Rep

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” Prov. 22:29 [KJV, emphasis added]

1Samuel 17:22-37. David came to the battle front as an errand boy but then he heard Goliath fuming and saw every soldier in Israel hiding. So he started asking what the reward would be for the man that kills Goliath. Eliab heard this and began to talk down on David. The ‘Eliab’s’ will always confuse God confidence with self-confidence. So they will try to reduce you to nothing, make you feel inferior, make you feel you can never achieve anything. But I have good news for you, the God of heaven says I should tell you to Stand Tall.

David ignored Eliab [and you should too] and before long he was before king Saul. David’s conversation with Saul revealed where his confidence was. I can never get tired of reading this story. He said, the lion came, I killed the lion by God; the bear came, I killed the bear by God; and this Philistine will go the way of the lion and the bear because of this same God [paraphrased]. David did not attribute his success, strength, and goodness to himself but to God alone. This singular act revealed where his confidence was. Standing Tall is not about being arrogant. It is about being relevant, huge difference! David showed up on the scene and spoke to the relevance of the matter. God is saying that you need to stand up and speak to the relevance of the matter before you.

God wants you and I to Stand Tall in three key areas. Firstly, Stand Tall in your industry. You are in whatever industry you are in to represent the Kingdom of God and you need to have that mentality. You are not there for yourself or just to make money, you are there to represent the Kingdom of God. As you begin to shift your mindset and align with God, you will be shocked at what God will begin to do. As you shift your mindset, God will engineer things to move in your direction. One of the most dangerous jobs on earth is Pastoring. The hazards are a lot but I love and enjoy it because the Kingdom I represent does not send you out without equipping you. You do not need to be a Pastor to represent the Kingdom. When you represent the Kingdom, you are loaded with the tools you need to fulfill destiny. The Kingdom will begin to release all you need to you.

Prayer: Lord, I receive the grace to Stand Tall in my industry and the grace to deploy the tools I need to fulfill destiny, in Jesus Name.
