Just Stand!

Ephesians 6:13 “…and having done all, to stand.” (NKJV)

Does the Bible say after you have done everything, after you go through all you are going through, sit, or throw a pity party, or throw a tantrum, or write to protest letter to God? God says after you have done all – Stand. Standing just means standing. But a lot of people do not want to stand. Read the rest of this entry

Stand

Ephesians 6:13 “…and having done all, to stand.” (NKJV)

When have you felt the lowest in your life and how did you handle it? Or are you at what you will consider your lowest right now? God has a Word for you in season. Philippians 4:4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! ” This is God’s heart, Read the rest of this entry

No Matter What!

Psalm 50:23 “But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

If you are going to pray in a crisis, you have to learn to honour God, no matter how you feel. Choose to honour God, no matter what. I want you to make that decision today that you will honour God, no matter what. There is a man in scriptures called Job. Job was a rich man; in fact, he was the richest man. Your Response, I

Isaiah 37:31 “And you who are left in Judah, who have escaped the ravages of the siege, will put roots down in your own soil and grow up and flourish.”

You will arise and you will shine. You will get up and you will be noticed for excellence. However, roots before shoots. In basic biology, the first thing that grows in a plant is the root. And it is because plants need water. The roots go down into the soil and get water for the plant. Read the rest of this entry

Which Side?

Ps.16:“Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine.”

Believe it or not but even children prefer to have friends who are all in. I had a conversation with some children a while back, I asked them, supposing it is your birthday and you are having a party, would you like your friends to be at our party or stay home and watch cartoons? Its Time

Ps.1:1 “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.” (emphasis added)

Yesterday, we began to look at this scripture and the three things that keep us in sync or take us out of sync with the timing of heaven and Jehovah. The first is The Advice You Take. The second thing is Where You Stand. Where do you stand? Read the rest of this entry

When Light Flows, V

Matt.7:24-25 “Everyone who hears my teaching and applies it to his life can be compared to a wise man who built his house on an unshakable foundation. When the rains fell and the flood came, with fierce winds beating upon his house, it stood firm because of its strong foundation.” (TPT)

You need to take a stand before your light can shine. You need to take a stand before your light can flow. However, taking a stand is not always convenient but you have to take a stand. Note however that, taking a stand must be on Christ and Christ alone. Read the rest of this entry

When Light Flows, IV

Matt.5:15 “Similarly it would be silly to light a lamp and then hide it under a bowl. When someone lights a lamp, she puts it on a table or a desk or a chair, and the light illumines the entire house.” (Voice)

My light flows when I call the things that be not as though they were. Secondly, my light flows when I engage in community. Thirdly, my light flows When I Dare To Take A Stand. Matt. 5:15No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.Read the rest of this entry

Firm Stand

Eph.6:10 “A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” (emphasis added).

“All merit is with the Son, all power is with the Spirit”. I came across a saying a long time ago and I believe it wraps up what Paul is saying to us really well. Read the rest of this entry

Hungry?

Matt.12:20 “A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.” [KJV]

Please read John 20:1-20, it is key to our study in this season of Easter and key to victory at the crossroads. The events in this portion of scripture took place mainly around the grave. Read the rest of this entry
