Multiply

Luke 13:20-21 “He also asked, “What else is the Kingdom of God like? It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough” (emphasis added).

Jesus is introducing another concept of the kingdom to us. He introduced the concept of ‘occupy’ and now He is introducing the concept of multiply. He says the Kingdom of heaven is like a yeast [it is little] put in a big measure of flower, and the little yeast multiplies its influence until the whole bucket Read the rest of this entry

Go Now!

Matt.28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (AMP)

Imagine you open your room window one morning and everywhere outside is filled with ice. Then you see four people trying to make it up the icy street, crawling on all fours. Root vs. Shoot

Luke 19:13 “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.” (KJV, emphasis added)

Dan.9:19 “O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.”

Prayer is the bedrock of Daniel’s life and strength. The truth is that seasons come, and seasons go but people that are given to prayer usually will outlast seasons. Read the rest of this entry

Under or Above Pressure?

Dan.2:14 “When Arioch, the commander of the king’s guard, came to kill them, Daniel handled the situation with wisdom and discretion. 15 He asked Arioch, “Why has the king issued such a harsh decree?” So Arioch told him all that had happened.”

There is so much to learn from how Daniel handled the situation with the king. Daniel was a master negotiator. Daniel’s life was at stake, but he was calm. It was like there was a gun pointed to his head, but he was not under pressure or hysterical. Read the rest of this entry
