Your Response, I

Isaiah 37:31 “And you who are left in Judah, who have escaped the ravages of the siege, will put roots down in your own soil and grow up and flourish.”

You will arise and you will shine. You will get up and you will be noticed for excellence. However, roots before shoots. In basic biology, the first thing that grows in a plant is the root. Stop It!

Quality Check

Isa.5: 3 Now, you people of Jerusalem and Judah, you judge between me and my vineyard. 4 What more could I have done for my vineyard that I have not already done? When I expected sweet grapes, why did my vineyard give me bitter grapes?” [with emphasis].

Extra, Extra

Gen.24:19 “When she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels, too, until they have had enough to drink.” 25 “Yes, we have plenty of straw and feed for the camels, and we have room for guests.”

 

People who excel do more and people who excel, they do more. In Genesis 24, Abraham sent his oldest servant to help pick out a wife for Isaac. So, he prayed and stepped out in faith. When he asked Rebecca for water, without any prompting she decided to go the extra mile and water his camels also. Read the rest of this entry
