Which Side?

Ps.16:“Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine.”

Believe it or not but even children prefer to have friends who are all in. I had a conversation with some children a while back, I asked them, supposing it is your birthday and you are having a party, would you like your friends to be at our party or stay home and watch cartoons? His Name Sake

Eze.36: 22 “Therefore, give the people of Israel this message from the Sovereign Lord: I am bringing you back, but not because you deserve it. I am doing it to protect my holy name…” [emphasis added].

We will pick up today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is if there is one thing you must do in your life it is to ensure that people know you with God’s Name. When you are associated with God, God will do certain things for you not because of you, but because of His Name. Read the rest of this entry

Right Turn

Acts 16:25-26 “Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God… Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!”

John 8:33But we are descendants of Abraham,” they said. “We have never been slaves to anyone. What do you mean, ‘You will be set free’?” Never been slaves, really? What about the four hundred and thirty years [430 years] in Egypt? If it was for ten years, then they can forget after some generations. Read the rest of this entry

From God

Rom. 8:28 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”

We will start today’s devotional with our final thought from yesterday which is, Jesus is above all – no exceptions. Jesus is superior to all. John 5:21-23For just as the Father gives life to those he raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone he wants. In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge, so that everyone will honour the Son, just as they honour the Father. Anyone who does not honour the Son is certainly not honouring the Father who sent him.” (emphasis added). Read the rest of this entry

The Proof

Due Him

Dan. 6:3 (NKJV) “Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.”
