Lord of All!

Matt.16:18 “Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.”

The journey we have been on as a church has been a very interesting one. With a lot of twists and turns, ups and downs. A lot of betrayals but above all triumphs, Read the rest of this entry

Just Right

Jn.14:29 “I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe.”

Jesus is worthy of Worship, He deserves worship. Jesus is the Messiah and based on the prophecies we can see that this is not just religion. The existence of Jesus is not in doubt, Read the rest of this entry

Jesus Is Lord!

Mark 12:10 “Didn’t you ever read this in the Scriptures? ‘The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. 11 This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.’”

The next prophecy that we will be considering is, the Messiah would be a priest after the order of Melchizedek. Read the rest of this entry

Prophecy Personified

Isa.9:6 [KJV] “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Is the Lordship of Jesus fact or fiction? Is Jesus just an imaginary friend or is He as real as He has been proclaimed to be? Is Jesus just a figment of our imagination? Read the rest of this entry

The Source

Ex.3: “…Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up… 14 God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.”

God knew Moses was going to ask for His Name and God was ready to answer the question. God knows our hearts even before we speak. In fact, the entire burning bush scenario was set up to answer Moses’ question. Read the rest of this entry

Who’s Throne?

Philip. 4:“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”

There will always be things that will try to take control of your heart and try to be God in your life. The truth is that when anything or anyone gains controlling position of your life, the first commandment is broken. Read the rest of this entry

Daily!

Lu.9:23 (KJV) “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” [with emphasis].

What then is this cross that Jesus is speaking to us about? A lot of the things we are calling our cross are the things that The Cross of Jesus came to sort out. Those things are not your cross. Read the rest of this entry

Jesus!

John 14:“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

I am here to tell you that Jesus is alive. People like to attack Christians because they claim that the Christian way of thinking is too narrow. And their argument is – how can there be only one way to God? Pay attention to what I am about to say next; it helped me and it will set you free. Read the rest of this entry

Rev.4:1 Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.” [with emphasis]

No matter how high you are, no matter what level you are in God, there is always a higher level in God. Some people claim to be on the mountain consistently or have all the spiritual inoculations and so they do not need to engage in spiritual practices to go up higher. Read the rest of this entry

Antidote I

Isa.62:4 No more will anyone call you Rejected, and your country will no more be called Ruined. You’ll be called Hephzibah (My Delight), and your land Beulah (Married), Because God delights in you and your land will be like a wedding celebration [MSG]

When we look at life through the eyes of the “fear of rejection”, we are unable to see the hurt of others and so we miss opportunities to minister to people in need. Picture this, Sister A walks past Sister B in church and does not respond to her greeting. Sister B takes offense and throws a pity party in her heart – ‘how could she do that? No body likes me in this church! Look at her, who can even like someone with such a nose?’ As God would have it, they both boarded the same bus one day and Sister A greets Sister B so warmly and Read the rest of this entry
