John 1:29 “The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and declared, “Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (NRSV, emphasis added). New Wine
Mark 2:22 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”

Unmerited Beauty
Rom. 8:32-33 (GW) “God didn’t spare his own Son but handed him over to death for all of us. So he will also give us everything along with him. Who will accuse those whom God has chosen? God has approved of them.”
God wants to take away the ashes in your life, He wants to take away the ashes that you are addicted to and give you His beauty. Will you give it to Him? Some people are holding on to ashes because of addiction and some are holding on to ashes because of logic. Read the rest of this entry

The word resentment is from the root word ‘re-sentio’ and it means ‘to cut again’. So, when you repeat or rehearse the hurtful words to yourself, you are cutting yourself again. Victory Road
Rom.12:2 “…let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
