The Journey

Ps.66:10-12 “He trained us first, passed us like silver through refining fires, brought us into hardscrabble country, pushed us to our very limit, road-tested us inside and out, took us to hell and back; Finally he brought us to this well-watered place.” (MSG)

For us that are in the New Covenant, the uncommon dream that God has for us, the God-sized dream that God has for us will take us on a journey of uncommon paths. The path that God is taking you through is not the path your brothers took. It is not the path that your sisters took. Read the rest of this entry

Secrets, II

Luke 3:21 “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened” (KJV, emphasis added)

These things I am teaching you, by the grace of God, I did not read it in any book. I did not learn it from anyone. God sat me down and explained principles and laws to me. However, it is possible for God to tell different things to different people at different times and He is still God. Read the rest of this entry

Right Turn

Acts 16:25-26 “Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God… Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!”

By the grace of God, we have entered the season of our turning point and God will bring about a turning point for good in every life in the Name of Jesus. From the spiritual standpoint, at every turning point there is the point of praise. Read the rest of this entry

Three & Two

Isa.43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV, emphasis added)

Yesterday, we said that from this scripture, we see three things and two outcomes. Understanding these things is key for the next chapter. The first thing is, Do Not Dwell On The Past – forget the former things. Read the rest of this entry

I AM!

John 15:8 “When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.”

You have to be fruitful! The mark of a true disciple in Jesus is fruitfulness. John 15:8 “When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.” (emphasis added). Not just glory, but great glory. Read the rest of this entry

Stance

1 Peter 5:6-7 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (NKJV]

John 9:35-38 “…Do you believe in the Son of Man?” The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.” “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!” “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.” This speaks of the Lordship of Jesus. Instruction

2 Tim.3:16 “Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.” (TPT]

John 5:7I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” God is focused on you, “Would you be made whole?” What do you want? Instead, you are focused on how your sister cheated you fifteen years ago. Refocus

Ps.121:1-2 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]—From whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” (AMPC].

We have to be totally unassuming when we are dealing with God. Sometimes, it is a pattern that God has established; the angel stirs the water, the first to get in gets healed. It was God that established it for them, but the man became fixated on it and it became his plan of how his healing would happen. Read the rest of this entry

Boundless

John.4:6-7 “Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.”

What are the things in your life that perhaps you are ashamed of? For the Samaritan woman, it was perhaps having five husbands. The Rabbis had declared three husbands to be the limit for women. Interestingly, men had no limit to how many wives they could marry. Read the rest of this entry

Fresh & Sweet

John 2:3-4 “The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” “Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.” (emphasis added).

The wine supply ran out during the festivities. We see from today’s scripture reference that in this life, the wine or the wine supply can run out. Things cannot always be perfect; sometimes things will not always go as you want it to go. Read the rest of this entry
