Secure Step

Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears will hear sweet words behind you: “Go this way. There is your path; this is how you should go” whenever you must decide whether to turn to the right or the left.” (Voice)

The world that we live in is very fragile, just one outbreak of some virus and everybody is wondering what is going to happen. Has the end come? A whole nation can be wiped off with a nuclear weapon. One would think that because of how fragile the world is that humanity will be humble, that man will be humble. Read the rest of this entry

Arrived?

Phil.3:12-13 Not that I have already obtained … or have already arrived at my goal… Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.” (NIV, emphasis added).

There are barriers that keep people back from moving; from seeing to doing, and God is going to crush these barriers in Jesus Name [say Amen]. In other words, you have received a vision from God and with excitement, you started moving. Read the rest of this entry

Newness

Genesis 13:14-15 “After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession.”

Why sometimes is it so difficult to bring change into our lives? I was having a conversation with Pastor Craig Groeschel about organizational change and honestly, he is an amazing thinker. When I left his office that day, my head was buzzing, and I was writing. Read the rest of this entry

Voices IV

Gal. 5:25 “If the Spirit is the source of our life, we must also allow the Spirit to direct every aspect of our lives.” (TPT)

Whose voice are you hearing? Is it the voice of God, or the voice of your parents? Is it the voice of your friends, or the voice of your adversaries? Is it the voice of the Bible, or the voice of your flesh? Is it the voice of the devil, or the voice of Prophets? Read the rest of this entry

Three & Two

Isa.43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV, emphasis added)

Yesterday, we said that from this scripture, we see three things and two outcomes. Understanding these things is key for the next chapter. The first thing is, Do Not Dwell On The Past – forget the former things. Read the rest of this entry

Unrestrained Joy!

Matt.2:10 “And when they saw the star, they were so ecstatic that they shouted and celebrated with unrestrained joy.”

The first joy killer during Christmas and beyond is anxiety. Mary chose to trust God and her anxiety melted, and she was filled with joy. The second joy killer is resentment over hurt or bitterness. Are you going to be better or are you going to be bitter? Read the rest of this entry

Fresh & Sweet

John 2:3-4 “The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” “Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.” (emphasis added).

The wine supply ran out during the festivities. We see from today’s scripture reference that in this life, the wine or the wine supply can run out. Things cannot always be perfect; sometimes things will not always go as you want it to go. Read the rest of this entry

Word Probe

2 Tim.2:15 “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.”

We are going into a study of the Book of John. Let me tell you upfront, we are going to be drinking from a water hydrant [gushing streams] so be prepared. The question is how hungry are you and what can you take in? My prayer is that you will take all in, in Jesus Name [say Amen]. Read the rest of this entry

In His Name, III

Isa. 11:2 “the Spirit of Yahweh will rest upon him, the Spirit of Extraordinary Wisdom, the Spirit of Perfect Understanding the Spirit of Wise Strategy, the Spirit of Mighty Power, the Spirit of Revelation, and the Spirit of the Fear of Yahweh” (TPT)

What is the point of having counsel if you do not have the might, the strength, the capacity to pull it through? 1 Sam. 30:8 (NKJV) “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, ‘Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?…’” What David was saying is, “I have Your counsel but because everybody is tired, everybody is despondent, they are about to stone me. Read the rest of this entry

Clear Confidence

John 3:36…whoever accepts and trusts God’s Son gets in on everything, life complete and forever! (But) the person who avoids and distrusts God’s Son is in the dark and doesn’t see life…” (MSG, paraphrased, emphasis added)

Our walk with God is a walk of faith. When you step out and walk with God in faith, God gives you clarity. When clarity comes, you take your next step. Some answers are waiting for you on step five, but you are on step two. God says, take the next step, move to step three. But you are insisting on getting answers now. Read the rest of this entry
