Good News

John 1:41-42 Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means “Christ”). Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus…” (emphasis added).

Yesterday, I shared with you how after I got saved, I could not keep Jesus to myself. Andrew went looking for his brother, Simon, and told him, so did I. Guess what? Surrendered

James 5:17 (AMP) “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.”

Gal. 5:22-23 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Our Advocate

John 14:16-18, & 20 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth… No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. …I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”

When we look at what theologians have called the dispensation of divinity; there is a period that they categorize as the dispensation of Jehovah, of God the Father. Set Time!

Rev. 10:6 “He swore an oath in the name of the one who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and everything in them, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it. He said, “There will be no more delay”

Isa.61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me…” (emphasis added). The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon you [say Amen]. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord; sovereign means  God does not need permission from anyone to promote you and no one can query Him. Read the rest of this entry

Divine Encounter

1 Sam. 1:17-18 “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.” “Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.”

He Will

Luke 11:10 “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Mercy & Help

Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

God can help you. In fact, God wants to help you and God wants to be with you. So, we move from, Can God help me? to God can help me, and then because we are convinced that God can help us, we move to, “God must help me”. Read the rest of this entry

True Help

John 11:21 & 40 “Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died. Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”

Martha and Mary had this Jesus that they loved, but the question on their minds was, “Can He help us?” They knew Jesus wanted to help, but they were not sure if He could help. Their dilemma was they were not sure if Jesus could help. Read the rest of this entry

Can He?

Ps. 121:1-2I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!”

There is no help apart from the Lord. Anyone or any force that claims they want to help you, if God does not help you, they are wasting your time. David understands this and David says, “…My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Read the rest of this entry
