Plan For It III

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.3 John 1:2 [KJV, emphasis added]

God wants you to prosper; He is clear in His Word so settle it in your heart. The question is what can possibly go wrong in your finances, for instance? The worst possible thing that could happen is getting to zero [bankruptcy]. You need to think about it. Then answer this question, what can be done to make sure it never happens? I have thought about it and I have put things in place to ensure I never borrow again in my life.

Things like tithing for instance; God said He would personally rebuke the devourers for my sake. The things that can take me to zero, God will take care of them as long as I tithe. So it is my responsibility to ensure that I tithe faithfully. But how do you respond if you have done everything you ought to do and the unthinkable still happens [God forbid]? You have to put a system in place. Personally, I have friends that will make sure that my family never suffers. Jesus said make for yourself friends that will take you in when you have financial disaster. I have people that will make sure that my family never suffers if anything were to happen to me or if I go totally broke.

I am sure you are eager to know how to find such people? I will tell you. You have to be such a person. Let there be people who will also say about you that if anything were to happen to them, you will not let their family suffer. What you sow is what you reap; that is how life works. Go through this process for every area of your life. It would be tough but you have to do it. Focus on your spiritual walk and ask the hard questions. What is the worst possible thing that could happen? Backsliding perhaps. What can you do to make sure you never backslide? Once you are able to answer it, then put a system in place. What if after all you still backslide? Have that system in place, ready to launch. I also have people in my life that will set me straight if, God forbid, I backslide.

Do you have such people in your life? These are hard questions but they guarantee your security. Excellent leaders practice crisis anticipation and scenario planning. You must learn to practice crisis anticipation and scenario planning.

Prayer: Lord, please help me plan and prepare for every season no matter how tough and help me keep my trust set on You in all seasons, in Jesus Name.
