Your Command

“Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen” Matt.21:21

As a child of God, God has given you authority. Your line of command is clear; your authority is from God. Do you know what it means when you give commands in the Name of Jesus? You are saying through the authority of Christ, I command you. The demon must go, not because you are powerful but because Jesus is powerful. Remember the traffic warden illustration yesterday? What happens if the cars do not stop? What should happen is all the law enforcement agents in the Federal Republic of Nigeria would be deployed to bring the drivers to book. And it is the same thing spiritually.

As a child of God, when you enter a situation that is contrary to God and you take a stand and say, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I speak order into this atmosphere, there has to be order. If there is no order, all the law enforcement agents of heaven will be responsible to enforce that order. You need to get this and I pray you get it. I have seen people who are conducting deliverance sessions rolling up their sleeves. It is obvious that they do not even know what they are doing. It is not your job. Just speak the Word, as long as you are aligned with God.

Napoleon was legendary for his quickness of decision during a crisis. As a leader, you need to know that crisis is one thing that negatively affects unity of command. When people are in crisis, they do not think clearly and as such they are not able to rise up to the occasion. Napoleon was legendary; in the midst of crisis he was clear and unperturbed. He dealt out clear instructions.

A research by Stanford University shows that. “The ability to function effectively in a crisis is the most important single quality of a great leader”. Whether you are a husband or a business leader, the most important single quality of a great leader is the ability to function in crisis. If the head of the home is always jittery and negative when there is a crisis, there is a big problem. You have to be rooted in Christ so that when there is a crisis and everybody in the family is looking up to you, you can step up and say this is the direction and God will back you up.

Prayer: Lord, I stand as You have appointed me. I root up every crisis and speak order into my life and family, in Jesus Name.
