Again And Again!

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind; is there anything too hard for Me?” Jer. 32:27 [NIV].

You and I need to put this Scripture before us deliberately because we are not immune to the curved balls that life will throw at us. Note that I did not say life ‘may’ throw us. But you and I need to know how to get hold of our thoughts and refocus them. There was a period in my life where I had this excruciating pain in my stomach. The genesis of it is that it was self-impaired. But I took this Scripture and sat before God praying in tongues. I prayed and cried and prayed myself to sleep and I woke up, the pain was gone!

The doctor’s report declared me medically unfit to fast, that was in 1998. But I have been fasting since then till today. I am the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me? So when the situation looks defeating, think of the greatness of your God. The question to you is, what have you tagged “impossible”? What area of your life, health, or journey spiritually have you tagged “impossible”? Take a moment right now wherever you are to just shut down on everything else happening around you and think of that thing. For some of us, it is a list of things that we have placed on the “impossible shelf”.

What have you been thinking is so hard? Now, I want you to think about that thing in light of the God of all flesh. Place that seemingly impossible thing before the God of all flesh. He says, I am the God of all flesh, is there anything too difficult of me? Now thoughtfully worship God with this song: “The splendor of our King, clothed in majesty, let all the earth rejoice, let all the earth rejoice. He wraps Himself in light, darkness tries to hide, and trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice. How great is our God, sing with me how great is our God. All will see how great, how great, is our God. You are the Name above all names. You are worthy of our praise. My heart will sing how great is my God”. Amen!

I do not know what that situation is named but whatever its name is, it bows to the Name of Jesus! Whatever they have called it, just put it beside the Name of Jesus. When the situation looks defeating, think about the greatness of your God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are indeed great. Let every situation in my life that does not reflect Your greatness be realigned now, in Jesus Name.
